Thirty two (or more?) young people dead in Virginia. Will the NRA do the despicable again and show up for a pro-gun rally as they did after the Columbine dissaster? Will they show just how deeply ignorant they are yet again?

Here in Spain, no one can even begin to understand how this stuff happens. No one here can conceive of the profound ignorance evidenced in the US with respect to guns.

I'm still a US citizen, and with every opportunity, I vote to control the sale of guns--and ideally, one day, to eliminate the sale of guns entirely in the US.

Days like today make me even more deeply ashamed to have been born in the US.
